We are delighted to be able to share with you that our Liverpool 1900s mid-terrace deep retrofit project, has officially achieved net zero energy performance

As it approaches 12 months from the final tweak of its construction when a defective thermostat controlling the Heat Pump fan coil radiators was replaced.  On that day, the building temperature was set to 20oC, and it has remained at that level ever since, summer and winter, night and day.

Statistics for import and export of electricity into and out of the house have been taken from the monthly statements from Octopus, our electricity supplier and customer.  Imports of 8,017.9kwh were exceeded by exports of 11,540.4kwh, a surplus over carbon neutrality of 3,522.5.

We are proud to see this vision come to life and to contribute to a more sustainable built environment.
